PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:

The device is from phenomenal type. It has a cylindrical body with a hole along the axis, in the hole there are put consecutively turbulent element and vertical chamber. It is the only device which acts upon the stream of water with mechanical vibrations in the lower limit of sound area and supersonic vibrations which are generated without any outer source of energy but are only using the energy of passing water. When the stream of water passes through the device, inside it are generated mechanical vibrations in the sound and the supersonic areas. The energy of mechanical vibrations provokes modification in the crystal structure of the calcite and destroys each microorganism in the water.
Great problem - scale !
Without doubt one of the biggest problem in our contemporary housekeeping is the scale. Everyone has been a witness of the white spots which remain on the mixing taps, dishes or shower cabins and we all know how difficult is to remove them. All this is due to the so-called scale, or calcium carbonate (CaCO3) which the water contains and which crystallizes under the form of calcite. The calcite is one of the most widespread minerals, it is polymorphous modification of the calcium carbonate which fragments have property to keep one another and so as time goes by and water moves there get sedimentations from 3 to 10 mm thickness on the surfaces. With thickness of sedimentation (scale) 3mm because of its low conductivity, the power expenses grow approximately 25%, with 10 mm they are more than 50%. What does happen when temperature rises? With the increase of temperature, sedimentation of scale increases too. When temperature increases as a result of the inside energy made in water (its widening) molecules, which have enveloped by then the calcite fragments, move apart from one another and “set it free”. In this way mineral fragments stick freely to one another in production of heat zone. This is the reason the most scale to be over and around the heaters. If you pay attention to the mixing tap in the bathroom you will see that sedimentation is considerably bigger in the hot part of the battery. Imagine what is going on with the heater of the boiler, dish-washer and washing machine. Reconstruction and prevention of sedimentation of scale from Tornado Ultra occur by activation of CaCO3, which crystallizes in other kind of crystal before to reach the zone of active production of heat, and the crystal itself becomes large and unable to keep yourself on the surface of the heaters and walls of the appliances. The large fragments which are formed can not stick together (amorphous structure) and they fall at the bottom of the appliances or are drifted by water. The transformation happens with enough energy to remain in stable position and the process is practically irreversible which means that it makes no difference at what distance from the places with possible appearance of sedimentations the device is installed.
Sterilization of water!
Water for domestic purposes has possible presence of bacteria in spite of its chemical treatment. Microbe quantity in water from private water sources (draw-wells), water reservoirs, basins and i.e. often exceeds admissible standards for human consumption. When water passes through Tornado Ultra, in a clearly mechanical way (without using chlorine and other chemicals), living there bacteria are being destroyed. Putting such a device after the circulation pump of pools makes chlorination of water unnecessary.
Microscopic analysis of crystal structure of scale is formed from cultivated and uncultivated water. The research is done by BAS. It is used scanning electronic microscope PHILIPS SEM 515. Accelerating voltage 10kV. Regime SEI 30 grad. The structure is registered and compared with increases 300, 1000, 2500 and 5000 times.
From pictures that have been made is clear to see an important difference in the crystal structure, shape and size of crystals:
Uncultivated water – small, stick to one another crystals which make thick mass;
Cultivated water – bigger with different form crystals, shapely they are not stick to one another
The difference between the massiveness of the crystals and the structure (thickness) of incrustation supposes different zones of crystal’s formation.
Uncultivated water – the process of crystallization immediately happens in the zone where the evaporable water gets in contact with the hot surface of the appliance
Cultivated water – the crystallization happens in the entire volume of the hot water
